STANDARD WORLD MAP

I make a standard sized world map, 100cm x 65cm and approximately 12cm deep with relief. There are many features already incorporated into it which appear as standard, but on top of this you can add extra features to make it more personal. Included in the price are an extra five features, but you can add as many as you like. Below is an example of a standard map with border, which is optional. Below is a picture of a specially commissioned world map ordered as a 50th birthday present. As well as marking places of particular interest to the recipient of the map, they also picked a number of very personalised scenes to go around the border. Along the top are all the houses the recipient has lived in, favourite holiday destinations down the sides and family pictures along the bottom.

STANDARD GLOBE

The globe is similar in design to the world map and can be personalised in the same way. On top of the landmarks, animals and buildings already on there, anyone wanting to order a globe can choose exactly the additional places and features they want represented, to make the piece completely unique. Some examples can be seen below in the picture gallery. It is designed to he hung, so it can rotate freely and be seen from all angles, but if space is limited it can also be put on a stand.

Below is a detail from a globe commissioned as a present for someone who had taken part in the BT Round the World Yacht Race. Each stage of the race was marked with the boats position, and momentous events were illustrated, including this one where the boat capsized and someone was winched off on a helicopter.
